About Me

Hey, I’m Billy.
If you’ve read a few pages on this site, you already know what I care about: spending more time on the road, fewer headaches at camp, and RV gear that actually does what it claims.
I didn’t start this site to chase trends or hype the most expensive products. I built it after years of trial and error—buying the wrong gear, returning what didn’t work, and learning what truly matters when you live or travel in an RV. Streaming that doesn’t glitch in the middle of nowhere. Power systems that don’t quit at midnight. Camp setups that feel solid, secure, and comfortable wherever you park.
Everything I write comes from one simple question I ask myself before recommending anything:
“Would I trust this setup on my own rig?”
You’ll find guides here on satellite internet, solar power, batteries, security upgrades, leveling solutions, screen rooms, towing gear, and the small but important details that make life on the road smoother. I focus on gear that balances performance, reliability, and cost—because great RV travel shouldn’t require unlimited budgets.
I test gear when I can, research deeply when I can’t, and skip anything that feels flimsy, overpriced, or overhyped. If something has limits or quirks, I’ll tell you. No sugarcoating.
If you’re a weekend camper, part-time traveler, or living full‑time in your RV, my goal is simple: help you make smarter choices before you spend your money or hit the highway.
Thanks for being here, and safe travels.
